About Auckland GFC

Auckland Celtic GFC was founded in 1969 in The Albion Hotel Auckland by 12 Irishmen (aka the 12 apostles). The club soon became well-known as a force to be reckoned with in Auckland GAA, not only for football ability but also for the great camaraderie between members, which still exists today.
